Our typical onboarding process will start with a document request related to your project. We will review your project package and schedule a due-diligence discussion to meet about your project. During this conference call we will share our findings, provide feedback and allow you to ask questions directly to a licensed professional about your project.

This direct to principal personalized experience to peer review your project ideas is an invaluable tool for your overall project success. To ensure we maintain high standards in our services and provide you the best value for your time there is a cost for engaging our services. This pre-project investment by both parties will allow us to clarify if we have a common interest and capability to work together.

Meet Our Team

Mission Oriented Team

Mr. Layton is the owner and Founder of this new gathering of ideas called Southwest Rainstorm. His various roles and experience allow him a unique insight as he engages to solve complex engineering, scientific and construction challenges across various industries. Mr. Layton has a variety of life experiences across these United States of America which allows him to envision a potential pathway for success where others have previously failed, quit or never even tried. He has 20 years of industry experience and has practiced as a Professional Engineer in the Southwest for over 15 years.

N. Emery Layton, PE

Mr. Layton is the Principal Engineer for Southwest Rainstorm licensed and original education as an Environmental Engineer. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University starting his career as a deep south Safe Drinking Water Program engineer before moving to the arid southwest to reconnect with his Ancestors .

He further expanded his water engineering experience as a consulting engineer with the focus of reuse, recovery and smart simple solutions for water quality challenges. Mr. Layton is also the firms primary drone pilot, licensed with a FAA sUAS Remote Pilot certificate and is also a certified sUAS flight instructor. When not working he enjoys family time adventuring, creating around the home or family garden and expanding his vision for a ranch, farm and orchard in Prescott.
